Job Description: Receptionist – JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Berhampur

Position Overview

JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Berhampur, is seeking a professional and personable Receptionist to be the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors. The candidate will play a key role in managing front-desk operations and ensuring smooth communication within the institute.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Front Desk Management:

    • Greet and assist visitors, students, and parents with a friendly and professional demeanor.
    • Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and efficiently.
  2. Administrative Support:

    • Maintain attendance registers, appointment schedules, and visitor logs.
    • Support administrative staff with filing, data entry, and document handling.
  3. Student and Parent Assistance:

    • Provide information about courses, events, and institute policies.
    • Direct inquiries to the appropriate departments or personnel.
  4. Coordination:

    • Assist in organizing meetings, events, and Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
    • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.

  • Minimum educational qualification: Graduate in any discipline.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer skills.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer-facing role is preferred.
