About the Role

Numtech Geosolution Pvt Ltd is hiring freshers for the position of LiDAR Engineer. Guided by the motto “Your Dream Our Plan,” the company specializes in LiDAR Mapping and GIS & Survey. This entry-level role is suitable for candidates with basic computer knowledge who are interested in developing practical skills in geospatial data processing and mapping.

• Employment type: Full Time, Work from Office.

• Location: Kasinath Vihar, Lochapada, Berhampur, Odisha.

• Experience: Freshers; no prior professional experience required.

• Working hours: 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday to Saturday, with a 45-minute daily break.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with processing, reviewing, and organizing LiDAR point-cloud data under the guidance of experienced team members.

• Learn to classify point-cloud features such as ground, buildings, and vegetation according to project specifications.

• Support basic GIS mapping, feature digitization, and geospatial data preparation tasks.

• Help identify noise, missing data, and classification errors, and flag issues for review.

• Assist with preparing terrain and surface mapping outputs using assigned software and documented workflows.

• Maintain organized project files, processing records, and task progress updates.

• Follow quality standards, data confidentiality requirements, and delivery timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A Diploma, BCA, BBA, or any graduation degree; a specialized geospatial qualification is not mandatory.

• Basic computer knowledge, including file management, data entry, and common office applications.

• Willingness to learn LiDAR processing, GIS concepts, and mapping software.

• Attention to detail when reviewing visual information and repetitive datasets.

• Basic analytical thinking and an interest in maps, spatial features, and technical workflows.

• Ability to follow instructions, communicate task status, and work collaboratively.

• Availability to work on-site according to the stated six-day schedule.

Nice to Have

• Introductory exposure to GIS software such as QGIS or ArcGIS.

• Familiarity with LiDAR, remote sensing, surveying, coordinate systems, or digital maps.

• Basic understanding of point clouds, terrain models, or CAD tools.

• Relevant coursework, academic projects, or introductory certifications in GIS or computer applications.

What We Offer

• Monthly salary after training: ₹8,000–₹25,000, with the applicable amount to be confirmed in the offer.

• Training policy: The first month is designated as training and is unpaid; no salary is provided for that month.

• Overtime pay: Extra working time is paid under the company's overtime policy; applicable rates and approval requirements should be confirmed before joining.

• Entry-level exposure to LiDAR Mapping and GIS & Survey workflows.

• An opportunity to build practical geospatial data processing and quality-checking skills.
