Job Description

Job Summary: The Admission Counsellor is responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process, promoting university programs, and ensuring smooth enrollment procedures. The role involves student interaction, counselling, documentation handling, and coordination with academic departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide career and course counselling to prospective students and parents.
- Explain university programs, eligibility criteria, fee structure, and scholarship details.
- Handle student inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
- Assist students with application forms and admission documentation.
- Maintain accurate student records and update admission databases.
- Coordinate with academic and administrative departments regarding admissions.
- Participate in education fairs, school visits, and promotional activities.
- Achieve admission targets set by the university.
- Follow up with applicants to ensure completion of admission formalities.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in admissions, counselling, or education sector (Freshers with good communication skills may apply).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and admission management systems.
- Fluency in English, Hindi, and Odia preferred.
